Sanitation Vulnerability: Women’s Stress and Struggles for Violence-Free Sanitation

This presentation summarises preliminary observations from a joint study between SOPPECOM and Texas AM University which is investigating urban women’s experiences of psychosocial stress due to sanitation-related violence, and exploring women and their families’ responses and solutions to this violence. The presentation was delivered at the SHARE-WSSCC convened International Sanitation and Gender Workshop held in Delhi, 9-10th December 2013.
