SHARE’s approach to M&E is reflexive and dynamic; we seek to continuously improve our processes, systems and tools. We also aim to be transparent and accountable through sharing our approach to M&E and our annual reports.
Theory of Change
Our Theory of Change identifies the change we want to see in the world and how we intend to contribute towards this. It specifies pathways of change which show how we intend to influence change through our activities. Our Theory of Change was formulated through a backwards mapping process – we thought first about the long-term goal, then the intermediate outcomes, outputs and activities required to cause the desired change.
We use our Theory of Change in combination with our programme logframe to set out what we want to achieve and how we will measure and evaluate this.
